Foreclosure process will be slow this year, firm predicts (Click me)

Please note there is some pick-up in January which is a good sign.

"We have multiple offers on almost every sale in the lower part of the market," said Barbara Lymberis, president of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors. "If people are thinking we haven't hit bottom, they're wrong." She predicted that trend would spread to higher-priced homes as sellers become confident that prices have stabilized or may even be rising.
