1.又到报税季节,略估抵税资料,有一疑问。即现有Mortgage interest + property tax 共$9000左右, 是否就不能有资格抵税(低于$11000)?而且每年利息的减少,更不能抵税?
Answer: They are deductible. Property tax could be deductible, even you are standard deduction.
2,还有10万左右loan,每年有5-6千的利息(5.875%),是否PAYOFF 较好?若买房投资收租金,也难有5%-6% 的纯回报?

3,看了一下贷款银行的payoff的project,月底付完我的principal balance,还要再付一个月的interest。一月份的账单已付过,剩下的本金不就是payoff的钱吗?为啥还要多付一个月的利息?
There are possible options for pay off, if elect payoff are all principal, it will calculate as principal. And it is better to call your loan to confirm.
