Bonus vs 401K match

Believe it or not, your 401K match could be pared by your bonus as bonus could speed up your contribution, meaning you would hit max 401k limit too soon.

Keep in mind, the pct.(%) is applied to gross income, not net pay like ESPP.

confused enough?  I don't blame you.  go shout at uncle Sam!!
