Thanks for the detailed explaination, a-mao!  I followed your posts all the time. I know your kids and your plan.  Actually, it is one of the reasons I posted here because I expect your input.

I maxed my 401K and not qualified for roth IRA (no tax deduction).  My big concern about pay off mortgage is pay too much tax (maybe loss rental loss deduction)...
