Ideas on rental unit repair

A unit will be closed today. Need some repairs. Soliciting ideas here:

1. the paint on the ceiling or wall get pelled, what is the best way to fix it beside paint the whole area?

2.Kitchen cabinets are vineer hard surfaces. on the bottom of cabinet the vineer do not cover the whole surfaces. How to repair this beside replace them?
