该不该rent-to-own?

房子出租时，往往收到rent-to-own的询问，有的还带有专业网站和Videos说rent-to-own是如何的win-win.我本人对此一律不感兴趣。原因是：在好区花钱renovate的房子，基本上与新房无异。如果能租出去，那是一棵摇钱树且很长时间内trouble-free。我知道本论坛有些人做得很不错，但我就是永远不懂。

比如，我的一个房子花了不少钱刚装修好，有个房客介绍他的女朋友家来租。其女朋友的哥哥作主，他说：If I rent it, I will live here forever and I am done.他有一个disable的母亲，我的房子要被小范围内改装方能满足她的需要。
