求救！请教各位老大，今天收到租户的邮件说

几天前他们用洗衣机洗衣服，后来发现地下室到处是水，发现洗衣机连到sink的管子没有连上sink(他没有说明为什么），后来他租用了工业用的vac和fan,现在地毯干了，但他说有味道，他想换地毯，问我的保险公司cover不cover，没有说是我付还是他付（$1000 deductible)。我认为这是他使用不当造成的，因为洗衣机链接到sink的管子是一个PVC很硬的勾形管子勾在sink的壁上，我住了8年从来没有发生过这样的情况。我想这是他为什么没有马上通知我的原因。请教各位我应该怎么答复他？谢谢。
