At least the bumped ones are gone.

But given how the materials worked, I would be hesitate to reuse them again especially you are not handy. Keep the good ones for a small room where you may take chance to install it.

I installed laminate floor many times myself (ten years ago), not a single time they failed. So I am really suspicious about the material. I used wet mob to clean them and nothing happened.

You should get full refund from contractor. The only question is how. Those guys are cheaters. Never trust them.

The materials are not that expensive. What you may settle is to buy new materials again and ask him to do a free installation. That may be the best way to settle for both side. I know it is a loss. But landlording is an ever expanding collection of experiences.
