各位前辈,
I submitted an offer for a small townhouse. The offer price is $135,000. Now the value of Appraisal of the property is $140,000. But the Lender want to me to fix the roof leaking, mold in basement,change Carpet,etc before I can get loan. The estimate to repair all these thing is $8000+ based on the lender's estimate. My question:
Can I get my $2000 deposit back if I quit from the contract now.

BTW, the Inspector did not mention the Mold in Basement.
