房屋出租后, Property tax 涨了很多

刚发现, 房屋出租后, property tax要涨很多. 给county 打电话, 被告之房屋出租后, 原来自住房可以有的大约$500的tax credit就没有了. 以前没听说过这个规定, 在county的网站上登记出租房时也没有看到.这里多收了property tax, 到时还要计算什么small business的tax,我是不是什么地方弄错了? 谢谢!
