999 tax may be not that good, but the concept is great!

i think we should try a progressive tax scale, getting rid of all deductions and special treatments. rich people use more social resources and thus they should pay more.

for example:

0-30k ==> 4%

30-60k ==> 6%

etc.

keep it simple. get rid of all deductions. i do not mind if i pay higher tax as long as everybody else is doing the same things. people should feel proud to pay their share of obligations. poor peole can receive social benefits. but they need to pay tax as long as they earn something. paying tax will increase their self-esteem.

what bothers me and many other folks is that some group of people have more leverages than others to play with tax game to their own benefits.

we should try something new. american either dies of the incapability of making a change or a massive violent social revolt will force the changes. i can feel that the people are running out of patience.
