First time landlord question

Sorry can't type chinese.

My tenant requested two more weeks to extend their lease which expired on the end of April, I agreed. When I received their check for two weeks, found out they calculated  using monthly rent / 31 (since they said May has 31 days) x 14; when I told them it should calculate based on 30 calender days for each month, they said since there is no previous communication, they ignored my suggestion. What should I do? Many thanks!

I see they used the right way to calculate since May has 31 days -nova01- 给 nova01 发送悄悄话 (85 bytes) () 05/04/2011 postreply 11:07:37
