such a dilemma for primary home!

paying no state tax or little may result in failure to use Sch A, meaning no property tax and other deductions are allowed and fed tax payable will sure go up.

the thing is property tax is usually higher in non-tax states.  it doesn't make any sense for retiree to keep paying such property tax - quite a financial burden!

here comes my question.

do old people get discount on property tax?  how much?

thanks!
