You may miss one piece of the big puzzle: cash sitting on the balance sheets of US corporates: it hit all time high at $1 trillion, comfortably sufficient to cover the US deficit.

Even though US as a country is deeply indebted, US corporates successfully regained the financial strength. So don't worry.
