I enrolled a group life insurance (2011) during my company's open enrollment in December 2010. A month later, I received a call from an agent, saying that a blood test is needed for the insurance company to review my application for the final approval. The agent can drop by my house to take the blood. This is the first time for me to receive such kind of calls. I always feel much more comfortable to have my blood taken in family doctor's office or an assigned facility. Does anyone have such kind of experience before? Is it reliable? Do I have to pay for the test? Thanks for your attention.
