OK, the founding fathers are not jerks in their times to believe

in gold based currency system. Economy at that time was still in a primitive way. We abondoned gold based currency system only decades ago. If you still want to go back to gold based currency system " If you’re capable of understanding the world, you have a moral obligation to become rational"  (according to Munger) then you are a jerk. So according to Munger, you either do not understand current mordern economy or you are a jerk. I happen to aggree with Munger just think that jerk is not a appropriate word to use here.  The key here for a jerk judgement, is whether you understand.
