I am a newbie to seek advice from expert landlords here. This condon had a roof leak as a result of the heavy rain lately. Property resotration company sent by HOA has ripped the ceiling and wall open to put a fan in to dry the inside wall structure...It will take about 24 to 48 hours to dry the inside structure. Plus one or two days to restore everything. Also One piece of furniture has shown some water staining and water damage.
My question to expert is: do I need to compensate tenant for
1 inconvenience with all the restoration work
2. water damaged furniture
