making a parabolic move when it just came out of a multi-month correction? And the market as a whole almost never makes a parabolic move. The parabolic moves occur mostly in individual stocks, you could find a lot in many .com names in early 2000 and most home builders in 2005, or some very narrow indices, but almost never in major indices.
By the way, I said many times that I am always on the look for parabolic move in GLD and that will be my time to finally get out, but so far I only see beauties in the splendid chart of GLD :-)
