I am also new to landlord career (2 years). I only have loans for 15yrs (less cash flow, pay less interest). I don't need the cash flow to support my living and very conservative to pay off loans quickly. I think if you don't need the cash flow and no intend to expend the rental business, 15 year is the choice. If you need cash flow and want to buy more units, then 30 years make sense.
