搬去南加退休财务上的可能性问题

各位美国理财达人，有个问题想了解一下。我是加拿大人，因为孩子现在南加，我很喜欢南加的气候，所以我也在考虑以后搬去南加退休财务上的可能性。我现在全部资产折成美金大概4米左右，两人加起来每年大概可以从雇主和政府退休金拿到约4万美金。在加拿大我们可以过的很潇洒。但加州有钱人多生活指数高，我们又要自己负担医疗保险。我们不想靠子女。不知道我们这样能否在南加过上华人白领的平均生活，比如至少可以每月外吃几顿，每年出国旅行2次，买菜也不用在意价钱。谢谢。
