WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that if China does not agree to a deal on trade, the U.S. will set the terms.

Trump also told reporters he would be very nice in negotiations with Beijing and that tariffs on imports from the country would fall significantly following a deal, but not to zero.

 

我的理解是Trump 乐意与中国达成协议，如果中国不配合，美方就自己定规则了，关税该多少是多少不用协商了。目前的升级后的关税，显然是有施压和比肌肉的成份，形同货物禁运（embargo），不是长久之计。所以Trump 说对中国的关税要大降，但不是零。 就是这个道理！
