in good selling area, LA has a good opportunity to get $20k with less than 50 hours (including paper work, open house, collect offers, follow up, etc.), making $400+ per hour, including the hours on the roads to the house/office.
in tough-selling area, LA loses, spending a huge amount of time, the rate could drop to $40 per hour. Even no result.
in both good selling area and bad selling area, BA is making a good easy money, $20k with 50 hours, also $400+ per hour.
no wonder most insurance agents, RE agents are so wealthy, while the so-called dear "clients", many of them, are in different interesting positions.
American fed/state 立法去保护agent的权益, even enforce agent的权益.
没有立法去保护购房者作为消费者的权益 for purpose.
