Apple shakes up AI executive ranks

Apple is undergoing a significant reorganization of its AI leadership to address delays and challenges in its artificial intelligence efforts, particularly with Siri. CEO Tim Cook has reportedly reassigned Mike Rockwell, the creator of the Vision Pro headset, to oversee Siri development, removing it from the purview of John Giannandrea, the head of AI. This move reflects Apple's urgency to improve Siri's capabilities and catch up with industry rivals. Additionally, Paul Meade will take over Rockwell's previous role in the Vision Products Group
