we put stop loss on stocks that are already under the water. It seems you never use stop loss on stocks, and only use options to hedge. Is it because you do not have any stocks that are under water? I sold my TSLA at around 300, because it is 10% under my purchase price. Originally thought about using options, but they never actually provide 100% protection because of time value.
