If the offer hasn't aceepted, how can you put deposit money in?

Even if the deposit is in escrow, you still have a couple of chance to run, like after you read termite or home inspection report or TDS (if it is not in CA, it shall have other form for disclosure), you can just say I don't want the house now. No need explain why and for what.
