helpful when buying REO. when I bought my first REO, my ex-agent was so passive that I had to collect and gave her all the information. She was very nice to help me to get my current residential house years ago. Maybe the REO is not her specialty or there is not much commission she could earn. Later on, I switched to a dual agent and he was so helpful and especially in purchasing my last REO where there were mult-offers. He did not tell me the other offer, but just gave me a suggestion. It turned out that I beat the other side by $100. Instead of treating him with a dinner, he gave me a $50 restaurant gift card for every closing.
