穿爷的税收，在local tax deduction上改了很大。

作itemized deduction的时候，SALT（包括state income tax, property tax等）只能一万，超出的部分不算了；mortgage interest全部算；medical expense是收入7。5%以上算；non-profit organization donation算的。。。但这些加起来如果不如standard deduction，自然就不用走itemized deduction了。我在美国30年，大约就作了一年itemized deduction,还是因为给孩子学校捐款，两年捐款凑到一个tax 年里才超过standard deduction的。
