During the financial crisis of 2011, Warren Buffett invested $5 billion in Bank of America stocks 1. This investment helped to shore up confidence in one of America’s biggest banks and proved to be one of the most lucrative deals of his career 1. The deal involved Berkshire Hathaway investing $5 billion in cash to Bank of America, in return for $5 billion worth of preferred shares, which were redeemable at a 5% premium and paid a 5% annual dividend. Berkshire also received stock warrants granting it the right to buy 700 million of the bank’s common shares at a price of $7.14 per share 2. The deal terms echoed Buffett’s bailouts of Goldman Sachs and General Electric during the 2008 financial crisis 1.
看看2011年,巴菲特买了5B的美国银行的优先股,拿10%利息,你能不能买得到?
