They will meet with you regularly. Is it Quarterly? However, when I manage the asset by myself, I watch it everyday, right? I do not adjust it that often, but I do monitor it constantly. Also I am not restricted by his way of doing things, such as move the funds under his control, not considering tax saving benifits (e.g. IRAs, 529 plans, ESPP ...). And I can choose any investment vehicle I want.

To me, it performs better and is more fun.
