The "day" actually is for 12 hours.  So you need to carefully time the arrival and departure at airstrip, else you pay another park fee. Game drives cannot go offroad. Cancellation clause changed from 2 days before arrival (this must be a system mistake - even St. Regis Aspen the free cancellation must be 60 days before arrival), to 60 days before arrival. $25K cancellation fee will be accessed if canceled within 60 days before arrival. Pointwise, actually back in October there were lots of dates for Summer 2024 at only 516K total for 5 nights when 1 night is free as program benefit.  Although personally I think 3 days at Masa Mara are enough. Though you should also account for the amounts for tipping the various staff, including your game drive drivers. However, the additional fees AND the $25K cancellation fee if canceled within 60 days window, can make this not so nice "high value" redemption as you might think. While you may be able to use mileage ticket between US and Kenya, but the bush flights to the park can only be cash ticket, $400 per person. And there are also the risks of taking the bush flying in Kenya... 我怕死, that is why I only do Safari in South Africa, no need to take bush flights. Besides I feel the tents at this property are not the high end types.  Count me snobby,  there are much better safari camps in Kenya and Tanzania - but of course you cannot use points.  However I find there are other places in the world I can get much better value for my points, and enjoy the trips much more.
