Granite countertop and cabinet move:can granite be saved?

water leak mitigation needs to move the cabinet. mitigation company wants to break it to remove cabinet. I refused so thry got a granite company to try to remove it. Any one with good luck?

Insurance pays for almost everything but I hate to break a really nice granite counter top. That was my baby. lol 

 

Insurance estimate mitigation cost $5k

repair about $20-30k

Lessons learned. water senors in crawl space or regular inspection

drain backflow is large warning I should have acted quickly. 

Using snake in drain line could cause damage to PVC pipe is my guess. 

 

Results came out. 

At sacrifice of some backspash, work done.
