Leak in crawl space 请给idea。 restoration asked >$10k. DIY?

Plumber could not go to it without cleaning. 

leak came from a crack right below compressed wood floor. 

Other darins in the house works fine.  Could insurance accept this claim?

500 sqft area in the crawl space affected.
