AMEX currently got a decent upgrade offer for Delta Gold Biz upgrade to delta platinum, 40000 delta miles for $3000/4000 spending.

if you currently hold a delta gold biz card, may want to check your AMEX account under offering.

Delta gold gives $100 delta credit to offset the annual membership of $95, the platinum gives a companion award each renewal but annual fee is $250.

you can upgrade and take advantage of the offer and downgrade it again next year, this is my third time that i utilized such upgrade offer, last year was only 25000 miles.
