How much money do you really need to retire? in today's world, it's a moving target.

In most of the Midwest states, the general household income is only 50k, so if your net operating income 2x of that, you can technically retire, which it translates into a property portfolio of approximately 5 million.

But today we are in a world of high inflation, 5 million may not be enough, may need to see 10 million to be safe.
