这一波的房价租金疯长对穷人确实很煎熬
“I once lived briefly in a large complex that was owned by a family for 40 years. It was always well maintained and taken care of and they kept rent increases reasonable.. I knew some of the family members and they lived an high-upper middle class lifestyle. They aged and sold out to an investment group of attorneys. The first thing they did was cut back on maintenance crew and upkeep/repairs and jacked up rents. It went from being a nice place to live to being a ghetto almost overnite. So I left. When places are almost doubling rents , I am not surprised by these events.”
