ceiling可以直接vent to attic, 前提是attic通风要好，otherwise you need to vent directly outside.

Or if the bathroom has no direct access to attic, you can install a wall fan to vent to outside.

 Always wire the fan with the light switch, tenant overall are lazy as fxck.
