我现在在buy-side，上级拼命要给每个基金都做个 ESG 评估，说是能吸引 ESG conscious investors （大概就是中文里说的什么裱吧）
不知道大麻算不算不符合 ESG
我孩子说他不吸大麻（keep my fingers crossed），但买了几个大麻股票。不知涨没涨。
多年前买了 MO，虽然我不抽烟。这个投资给了我不少回报，分拆了许多公司，都搞不清了。
自由世界什么都有，也有专门反对 ESG 的投资，比如有个ETF，ticker 就是 VICE （n. immoral or wiched behavior），不怎么见涨。
胡思乱想扯远些，许多环保的东西，大家都支持，但 not in my backyard，比如 off-shore wind power，比如 垃圾焚烧。
美国相对欧洲更保守些，历史上有 prohibition （禁酒），都写到宪法修正案去了（18th Amendment）。
我刚入行就学了一句：“what is the difference between bond and bond traders? bond matures, bond has principal (principle), bond has class"
