Exactly that is the point. Deflation makes people save.

And the saving can be used to do constructive capital intensive investments such as airports, water treatments, etc. And those expansions will pay back handsomely to the society.

Now, US borrow and consume on useless products, Hammers, SUVs (how many of them really hits the dirt road?)

Deflation makes the nation wealthier in a very stable fasion. No hypes on real estate, no hypes on the stocks, etc.

Good for the country. Good for the America. Bad for the speculators, bad for the wall street and politicians.
