我决定拿IRA时特别做了DETAIL TAX SENSITIVITY TABLE看IRA拿多少税会增加多少，完全没见到他所说的税大增加的情况。

I dont think he knows anything. 80K is after standard deduction, not before the deduction. His last example was wrong. Taxable income in the last example should be ZERO, not over 3K!

90K-Standard deduction (24800 forcouple)<80K , No tax due for his last example.
