you'd better check it out:

- some brokerage will charge annual maintenance/management fees;

- also charges as much as $75 if you close IRA acct completely.

my suggestion is not to open IRA with to many brokerages if you don't have that many $$ in accts.

IRA made easy as long as you keep it simple and take initiatives to manage.

just my 2 cents.
