Never heard this story, quite a bit exaggeration. You gave Andy an extra 0 in stock option, 2000 shares more likely. Gilead was trading in teens, so that was option price.

Too bad for both of them, Gilead had another split after he left and kept going up :-(

Gilead is probably the hottest biotech over last 10 years.
