我完全同意老朽大师及其它大侠。我的投资房贷款是30年 fixed。When I reached 10 loans, the banks did not give me 30-year fixed loans anymore.  So, I went to local small banks and got commercial loans that are usually for 20 years and with the first 5 years fixed.  Then they can be renewed after 5 years.  I said 10-15 years to reach financial freedom; that does not mean the loan is for 10 years. After 10-15 years, you still have loans, but the cash-flow is substantial, so that you can retire if you want to.  You may still choose to work, or work part time, and have time to tour the world.  Good luck.
