关于primary residence的定义

请教大家一个问题

 

我以前在A处有个房子按照primary贷款的，后来由于工作原因需要中美往返，我就把那个房子租出去。回美国的时候基本都住亲戚或者老板家。我的工作也在A处。

 

现在想refinance还能不能按照primary贷款了。 一个朋友说不行了因为我房子租出去了必须按照investment。另一个朋友说可以因为只要定义一个房子为primary，并且和你的工作生活密切相关是没有人管的。

 

想从ivydirect贷款所以想问下大家
