Professional housing providers hate evictions and wish to avoid them at any cost. We are in the business of providing housing, not the eviction business. Housing providers only evict when tenants refuse to comply with their contracts and payment responsibilities.

 

“Fortunately, despite the Covid-19 pandemic most renters have been able to pay rent, in part because of government stimulus, and in part because of the generosity of family, friends and churches. In fact, the money and generosity have resulted in there being a quarter of the typical evictions year to date. Even if we do have a small spike in August or September, it will take a lot of additional evictions above normal to get back to normal levels for the year,” says Paul Smith, Executive Director of the Apartment Association.
