Agreement
I _________________________ the tenant of unit ______ at _____________________ agree to the below outlined payment plan, regarding any unpaid fees owed to landlord, during the COVID -19 outbreak. I understand that if I default on this agreement any and all applicable late fees will be retroactively applied to my account.
I agree to the below and to notify the landlord once I am working again. My compliance with this agreement will grant me the following
Rent Payment
With a minimum payment towards my regular rent dues of $________ , in the amount of $______, late fees will be waived, and no collection action will be taken.
If minimum payment is not made late fees will be applied to all months where late or non payment is made.
Once employment is restored tenant agrees to notify the landlord. Tenants are being trusted to be honest about when they resume work. Following the first 30 days of employment, tenant agrees to resume paying current month’s rent in full, and 33% of the outstanding balance owed, balance to be paid off in 3 months.

Forwarding a tenant to collection is the last thing we want to have to do during times like this. However, tenants should be aware that ignoring the landlord and their obligation to pay their rent, as landlord works to collect rent intended to pay their mortgage and other expenses associated with owning the rental property, may have their accounts forwarded to collection to protect the landlord's legal rights, regardless of any situation that may create a financial hardship for tenant.
