有关威胁房东租客，今天下午的更新

下午3点多他给我发了条短信，我没理他。内容如下

 

If you don’t respond by 4 PM  today, I will presume the contract between us is void. Per our contract, you are obligated to return me the full amount of the deposit. 

 

I’m sending you this text to make you aware that I am looking to sign a new lease. So, changing your mind after 4 PM to let me occupy the the premises would not change the fact the I signed a new lease and you owe me the deposit in full. 

 

Finally, in case this dispute between me and you necessarily reaches the court because of your unwillingness to coaporate with me and respond to my calls, I will make all these texts openly available to the Court. 

 

一看就知道不是他自己写的。估计他是担心我不给他退押金。找他纽约的法律专业的哥写的。

 

他提出解约，我退押金给他。我没问题。

 

我想周一让我老公和他约个公共场合，咖啡厅什么的地方，给他押金全额退款支票前，让他在mutual release form 上签字。 之后他和我就没啥纠葛了。

 

请各位房东指点一下，这样处理有没有问题？
