Usual rent standard: gross income / rent > 3

Mortgage standard: gross income / (mortgage payment + other debt) >= 2.32

Your situation:

gross income / rent = 2.22 ,

if he has debt, then (gross income)/ (rent + debt) < gross income / rent = 2.22

Therefore:

(gross income)/(rent + debt) < 2.22.

Unqualified.
