500 billion to buy mbs, that is almost one year MBS supply, 100 billion agency debt - one year of agency supply, 200 billion ABS - one year ABS supply: Consequency: mortgage rate will be lowered, credit card rate, student loan rate will be lowered as Fed buys these assets. Fed action will bust asset price you name it.
