I have a couple of remote properties. One of them is empty and the downstairs is empty. There was leak and flood the downstairs. We didn't find out until months later. You would guess how much I spent on restoration.
Renters some times don't pay rent on time, repairs and all. It does consume lot of effort. I am not at the point of
owning10 properties and hiring people manage it yet. However I did try to hire property manager for a few months
They are so irresponsible and eventually i have to take the matter to my own hands.
Working for an employer is a lot easier than managing properties. I am in the process of selling remote properties
and focus on work right now.
