Where in the world did he get the idea of buying so many vacant land in a very sparsely populated places like State of Arkansas? That's crazy. His primary mistake is many people's primary mistake: Going for "cheap" only, and carried away with the idea of "getting rich quickly". Land in those remote places can be cheap, but they don't give you cash, then they will become alligator slowly eating him alive. If, like the article described, his total asset value is 2.4 million, if he can get them all under nice cash flow positive, it's a very good prospect for him. Will he consider killing? will he be so mad? I don't think so.

So, the conclusion is, bad cash flow kills people, and kills other people too. If you don't care about cash flow, don't ever touch real estate.
